Thank you to 102.3XLC & 95 WIIL Rock for choosing Don Wilson of Fun Times DJ to be the emcee of their 4th annual Bridal Showcase.  Doris Bridal of Highwood, IL supplied the gowns and Fun Times DJ supplied the sound.  It was educating and fun for the attending brides to be!

So you got engaged on Christmas...

I always thought it was a classy thing to do.  A marriage is a joining of two families, so proposing in a family setting makes perfect sense.  In January there will be a ton of bridal shows, don't let pushy vendors make you purchase services based on their schedule...it is your day.  While booking a vendor with plenty of advance time is the right thing to do, (for your own sanity) don't say yes to fast to a pushy sales pitch with 100 brides behind you.  Use a bridal show to get a quick overview of the wedding professional and make notes to set appointments with those who spoke to your needs/dreams. 
Then before you know it the day will be here and everything will be perfect!
